PelhamBayMap

Pelham Bay Park has 2700 acres. The forested part is much smaller but contains a variety of trees that are host to a number of choice edible mushrooms. Trees include post and chestnut oaks, which are found in few other city parks, as well as red and white oaks, black birch, American beech, and a planted pine grove.
