This year – 2016 – is the 36th Anniversary of the Telluride Mushroom Festival.
This annual celebration of all things fungal in the high, summer-wet mountains of southwestern Colorado is unlike any other event on planet Earth.
You have to be here to believe it. Even then, you might not believe all that you see and hear and experience during this 4 day myco-sensorium.
This year’s Telluride Mushroom Festival (2016) begins on Wednesday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 21st.
Mushroom hunts in the local mountains – mushroom cookery – mushroom lectures and workshops – a mushroom costume parade through town – and some of the best friends you will ever meet and get to know.
