  1. Hello Gary, just watched the documentary on HuLu, very interesting! You mentioned shrooms can help with autoimmune diseases. I have a pretty good case of Fibromyalgia that I have had since i was a kid but not diagnosed until adulthood and arthritis. I have had both knees operated on with little pain relief. I do not medicate with prescription or over the counter drugs. I am very stiff and sore every day and would like to know if you have any information or advise if shrooms have any benefits for the Fybromialgia. It has gotten to the point that I am putting my home up for sale and relocating to a warm climate because the Chicago weather takes a great toll on my body, I am only 45yrs my mind thinks I’m 18 and my body tells me I am 80yrs old! HELP! LOL

  2. Hello,
I also just watched “Know Your Mushrooms” and it was really good. I love mushrooms and only eat the ones I buy from the store. I have a fear of eating ones you find in the woods, but would really like to change.

I live on staten island, ny. Could you please let me know if you will be having a local mushroom hunt or if you will not be having one, do you know of anyone else who does this sort of thing?

Thanks so much for your time and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Brian K

  3. I am a huge fan of Know Your Mushrooms. This documentary and Mushrooms have truly changed my life, I just moved to Arizona (not the best place for mushrooms) from a humid climate!! Ironic isn’t it. I wanted to know, are there any colleges with mushroom expert such as you teaching? I would go to anywhere in North America to learn about mycology and mushroom hunting. Please, if you would be so kind as to respond, you will fulfill my life’s purpose and have your self a loyal, devoted mushroomier!
