  1. We see this skunk cabbage peak up in early spring around wet areas and streams and marshes. It is a monocot in the Arum Family (Araceae.
    Insects pollinate this plant by travelling from plant to plant. Other animals that help pollinate are bee, beeltes, and butter flies and flies.
